This is my page! I am the founder of Roast My Landing Page, a paid landing page roast (audit) service.
Over a few years I made almost $300,000 roasting SaaS, creator, and other business landing pages.
So, what can you learn from my page?
When selling a higher-ticket offer, you need to build trust, fast.
Rather than talking about the roast, I showed a few of them. In fact I AB tested the video player thumbnail to get as many people watching the main roast as possible.
I supported this with lots of social proof, carefully curating testimonials for different purposes. Some to prove I could deliver the results, others to address doubts, and some because they're enjoyable to read.
I also built the pain of doing nothing. Most people visiting a landing page leave. The aim is to make it more painful for the visitor to not act (leave) than to act (buy).
Finally I did a lot of 'objection handling' throughout the page. I reviewed every question I was sent by a lead, and found a way to gracefully answer it on the page. This stops people abandoning the page when doubts arrive.
